The ornaments in Leaves and Straw are all from plants which grow on Alphabet Farm where Stone Type Foundry is located in the Capay Valley of California. Most of these plants are identified in the specimen book which can be accessed through the Specimen Books page. There are 26 ornaments in all. They are located in the a-z positions of the keyboard (top to bottom in the above specimen) and their horizontal reflections are in positions A-Z.
